So, tell me about yourself

I will start by saying that I absolutely love Photography. Video is fine, but when was the last time you thought back to a video that you have seen...probably never. Now, think about the photographs in your life. You no doubt have images that have woven their way into your heart and have become a part of you. Do you rembember the image from the end of World War II? You know...the one with the sailor kissing the girl in New York City? That is an image you can never forget. That is the power of photography.

I started getting serious about my photography when my 3 daughters were growing up and getting active in Dance and gymnastics and just being themselves. The photo's I was taking...quite honestly...sucked. So, I set out on a mission to learn how to take better images. I studied work of photographers, whose work I admire, invested in professional lenses and equipment, then practiced, practiced and practiced some more. I am constantly working at learning new ways to see things.

I can't get enough of traveling and seeing the beauty that is all around us and doing my best to translate my feelings about the scene into an image I can be proud of.

From Nature, Wildlife, Dance, Theater and life's special Moments, I have such gratitude for having the ability to experience and photograph these moments in time.

These 3 words drive me forward, Natures Wonder Captured.
